Abstract

This utility model pertains to intelligent video surveillance systems and is designed for the automatic detection of weapons and suspicious objects in a video stream. The system comprises video surveillance cameras, a video processing server, a people detection module, a person-area analysis module, a weapon and suspicious object detection module, an alarm generation module, a spatially linked camera detection module, a module for automatically connecting additional cameras, a video recording module for the event, a notification transmission module, and an operator user interface. After detecting a person in the frame, the system analyzes their area for weapons or suspicious objects. If a threat is detected, an alarm is generated, spatially linked video surveillance cameras are automatically connected, and a single event is created based on data from multiple cameras.The technical result consists of increasing the accuracy of threat detection, reducing the number of false alarms, expanding the area of ​​automatic video monitoring, and increasing the effectiveness of security service response.
