Abstract

The invention relates to the production of refractories, specifically to the technology of refractory masses for the manufacture of refractory products. It can be used for lining metallurgical units, such as steel-pouring ladles or induction or electric arc furnaces. The quality of refractory products can be improved by using steelmaking slag as a binder in the refractory mixture. The technical result of the invention is to increase the heat resistance of refractories. To increase the heat resistance of refractories, 3-9% of slag from the production of grade 35L steel in an induction furnace is added to the composition beyond 100%. The composition of fireclay bricks includes fireclay waste of fraction 0-5 mm (26.1%) and 5-10 mm (39.2%), fireclay mortar (8.8%); Portland cement PC M400 (13.0%), water - 6.9%, characterized in that slag from the steelmaking production of 35L steel in an induction furnace is introduced - 6.0%. These studies were conducted within the framework of the implementation of the grant of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan AP23487471 "Research and development of technology for obtaining lining from man-made waste from steelmaking for furnaces of the metallurgical industry."
