Abstract

The invention relates to the design of road surfaces for motorways and can be used in transport construction for the construction of road surfaces for motorways with an axle load on vehicle axles of 13 tons or more. The technical result of using the proposed invention consists in improving the technical and operational characteristics of the road surface, including increasing frost resistance, increasing durability with reduced manufacturing costs, and the possibility of reusing recycled waste in the construction of road surfaces for highways with an axle load on vehicle axles of 13 tons or more. The crushed stone base is made in multiple layers in the form of layers of coarse-grained sand, sand and gravel mixture, crushed stone layer mixed with old asphalt concrete with fractions of 20-40 mm and crushed stone layer treated with bitumen with fractions of 5-20 mm, located one above the other on top of the soil, the asphalt concrete pavement is made in two layers in the form of layers of coarse- and fine-grained asphalt concrete located above the crushed stone base, In the crushed stone base above the coarse-grained sand, a heat-insulating layer of rectangular polystyrene foam slabs with a thickness of 70-90 mm and side dimensions from 580-600 mm to 1180-1200 mm, additionally introduced into the composition of the road surface, is placed.
