Measuring organ for protecting parallel power transmission lines from short circuit

Abstract

The invention relates to electrical engineering, specifically relay protection technology, and can be used to construct short-circuit protection for parallel lines without the use of current transformers. The technical result is increased operational reliability of the measuring element. A measuring device for protecting parallel power transmission lines, comprising six clamps, nine fastening strips, four reed switches, two identically constructed housings, fastening bolts, a cable, two turnbuckles, wherein the cable and fastening strips are fastened in such a way that the longitudinal axes of the second and fifth fastening strips are perpendicular to the crossarm and parallel to the support and the insulator string. The first and second housings are attached to the free ends of the second and fifth lines, each housing two rotatable reed switches. The economic benefit is that the proposed measuring device allows for the construction of parallel transmission line protection systems without the use of current transformers.
