Abstract
The present disclosure provides a method for predicting the lifetime of components for liquid handling in an automated analyzer, the method comprising the Steps of acquiring measuring data and optimizing the data by reducing noise level; identifying a single function type that best describes a degradation trend by preparing a set of curves from the measured data comprising the whole lifetime of the monitored components; identifying a set of functions based on the identified single function types by using a maximum number of available curves äs a complete training dataset; performing a threshold determination regression analysis on the training dataset; prediction and calculation of a remining lifetime; and providing visual representations of trend curves, thresholds, and remaining lifetime determinations.
