Abstract

A cleaning device (100) for cleaning items (X) comprises a cleaning chamber (110) in which at least one load carrier (120, 130) is arranged to hold items (X), a plurality of compressed air couplings, wherein a chamber coupling (112, 114) is arranged on the cleaning chamber (110) for each load carrier (120, 130), a carrier coupling (122, 132) for coupling with a chamber coupling (112, 114) is arranged on each load carrier (120, 130), and at least one closure coupling (124, 134) connected to the carrier coupling (122, 132) for coupling with a piece of items (X) is arranged on each load carrier (120, 130), a compressed air connection (140), and a compressed air line (145) for connecting the compressed air connection. (140) with each chamber coupling (112, 114) and a measuring unit (150) with a directional control valve (152) and a flow sensor (154).The measuring unit (150) is connected in the compressed air line (145) between the compressed air connection (140) and each chamber coupling (112, 114). A compressed air system is formed, comprising the compressed air connection (140), the measuring unit (150), the compressed air line (145), the couplings, and any items to be cleaned (X). The directional control valve (152) is switchable to vent or supply compressed air to the compressed air system. The flow sensor (154) is designed to detect flow in the compressed air line (145) and provide a sensor signal (155).
