Abstract

The present application relates to the technical field of weld testing equipment, in particular to a magnetic non - destructive testing system and control method for welds. The system comprises a moving module, cleaning modules, spraying modules, magnetization modules, detection modules, lighting modules, a control module; and the control method is applied to the system. The control method comprises the following steps: setting magnetic particle testing parameters according to parameters of a workpiece to be tested; performing magnetic particle testing calibration operations on the workpiece to be tested according to operating parameters, and identifying change stages of magnetic particle distribution; obtaining a critical detection time and a critical moving speed based on the change stages; controlling the magnetic non - destructive testing system to move inside the workpiece to be tested at the critical moving speed and performing magnetic particle testing operations on the welds to obtain magnetic particle distribution images of the welds.
