Abstract
The present invention relates to the field of roadbed protection technology and discloses a hyperbolic composite roadbed protection structure for resisting impact damage from debris flows, including a block body, where the block body has a water- facing surface and a back surface, the water-facing surface is a biconcave hyperbolic surface, and the back surface is a planar surface, the hyperbolic surface is curved in both the longitudinal and transverse directions of the block body and is recessed inward into the block body. By designing the water-facing surface of the block body as a biconcave hyperbolic surface, debris flows or water flows generate upward-slanting and downward- slanting component forces upon impact, effectively altering the direction of impact. This redirects water rushing toward the bank slope swiftly into the main flow zone of the river channel, preventing water from overtopping the structure and washing away the road shoulder and pavement.
