Abstract

The invention discloses a method for detecting a mutation in the 7th exon of the ACSL1 gene in animals, belonging to the field of genetic engineering technology. The method efficiently identifies whether the TCTGA gene sequence in the 7th exon of the animal ACSL1 is deleted. This is achieved by distinguishing the number and size of enzyme-cut bands, allowing differentiation between wild-type, deletion mutant, or heterozygous individuals in terms of the TCTGA gene in the 7th exon of ACSL1.
