Serum mirna biomarker for measuring the timing of sexual maturity onset in chickens and method for preparing serum containing the biomarker

Abstract

The present invention relates to a serum miRNA biomarker for measuring the timing of sexual maturity onset in chickens and a method for preparing serum containing the marker. The marker is one or a combination of gga-miR-29c-3p, gga-miR-217-5p, gga- miR-375, gga-miR-215-5p, gga-miR-19b-3p, gga-miR-133a-3p, and gga-let-7a-5p. By extracting small RNAs from chicken serum and using qRT-PCR technology to detect the expression patterns of miRNA markers during sexual maturity progression, the present invention identifies seven specific circulating miRNA markers that can accurately measure the timing of sexual maturity initiation in chickens, providing a more precise measurement standard for research on the mechanisms of sexual maturity initiation and the breeding of new precocious chicken strains (varieties).
