Abstract

The present invention belongs to the field of medical technology and specifically relates to a formulation for treating ulcerative colitis and its applications. The formulation comprises Rhododendron molle, Amomum kravanh (cardamom), and Alpinia officinarum (galangal). The formulation, as well as extracts and pharmaceutical preparations based on the formulation, can effectively restore intestinal length, protect the integrity of the intestinal barrier, regulate imbalances in intestinal acid-base homeostasis, inhibit intestinal epithelial cell death, and reduce intestinal reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels, thereby achieving the therapeutic effect for ulcerative colitis.
