Multifunctional bed for fall prevention

Abstract

The invention discloses a multifunctional bed for fall prevention, comprising a bed body with rails installed via mounting boxes having slots; including a first restraint strap for the head and two second restraint straps for the arms; the first restraint strap has first sliders at both ends, and the second restraint straps have a fixed end and another end connected to a fourth slider via a movable rod; an air pump installed at the bottom, its outlet connected to a sealed box with a piston; the mounting slot and sealed box are in fluid communication via an intake and exhaust pipes; a linkage assembly is provided between the piston and the first and fourth sliders. Inflation by the air pump raises rails and simultaneously constrains the head and arms; when restraint is not required, bed can be used as a hospital bed.
