Abstract
The present invention discloses a multifunctional extremity splint for orthopedic traumatology in Traditional Chinese Medicine and relates to the technical field of medical aids; it comprises a semi-ring section, a lower arch section, and a side frame section; through the cooperative structure of screw rods and guide rods of the three adjustment components in the side frame section, the overall span and the degree of fixation of the splint can be adjusted to adapt to different circumferences and lengths of the extremities of different patients; At the same time, the design of the sliding plates and hinge axes of the coupling component in the lower arch section, as well as the rotating frame and pivot axis structure of the joint component, allow the splint to be closely adapted to the physiological curvatures of different areas of the extremities, thus effectively solving the problem of conventional splints with fixed specifications that cannot be adapted to the length of the extremities and the distance of curvature. Furthermore, the stop plate on the connecting frame allows for fine adjustment of the support height via the stop bolt, thereby avoiding local compression of blood vessels and nerves and improving wearing comfort.
