Abstract

The present invention discloses a synthesis process for a novel fluorescent-functional molecule, namely a glycoluril-benzylamine carboxylic acid derivative. In the process according to the invention, glycoluril is first reacted with formaldehyde to obtain tetramethylolglycoluril. Subsequently, a condensation reaction with p-benzylbenzoic acid is carried out, resulting in ring closure. After final separation and purification, a new compound, namely the glycoluril-benzylamine carboxylic acid derivative, is obtained. This substance belongs to the class of fluorescent-functional molecules and can be used for the production of fluorescent substances or materials. Compared to synthesis processes for similar substances in the prior art, the process according to the invention is characterized by simple and readily available starting materials, mild reaction conditions, low environmental impact, and a high yield of the target product.
