Abstract

The present invention discloses a system for optimizing the location and arrangement of fire stations in traditional village and town building complexes, falling within the technical field of fire protection and urban-rural planning. By introducing a fire protection urgency metric, this invention integrates GIS technology with optimization algorithms to achieve scientifically planned fire station layouts and thus improve fire suppression efficiency. First, the fire protection urgency for various building groups is determined by combining the spatial characteristics of fire spread risks with existing fire protection metrics, thereby quantifying the intensity of fire suppression needs within village building groups. Finally, using a combined location selection method that utilizes the Location Set Coverage Pattern (LSCP) model and the Maximum Coverage Pattern (MCLP) model, the existing fire station layout with high and extremely high safety urgency is optimized as optimization targets. This determines the minimum number of required fire stations and their optimal positioning.
