Abstract
The present invention belongs to the technical field of molecular biology, specifically relating to primers, kits, and methods for detecting Chlamydia suis in pigs. The present invention provides a primer for detecting Chlamydia suis, wherein the nucleotide sequences of the upstream primer and the downstream primer are shown as SEQ ID No.1 and SEQ ID No.2, respectively. This specific primer is designed based on the ompA gene of the Chlamydia suis R19 strain and can achieve rapid, efficient, and specific detection of Chlamydia suis. By using the above primers to perform real-time quantitative PCR amplification on the test sample, it is possible to accurately detect suspected pathological materials. Experimental results demonstrate that, compared with conventional PCR, the method provided by the present invention for detecting Chlamydia suis exhibits good sensitivity, strong specificity, and high reproducibility.
