Abstract

The present application relates to the technical field of damping for vehicle bogies, and discloses a buffer and damping device for a railway vehicle bogie. The device includes a steering base shaft, a vertical damping mechanism, an auxiliary damping mechanism, a positioning frame and a bottom damping mechanism, where a connecting groove is provided at a bottom end of the steering base shaft, a mounting base is fixedly connected to an outer surface of the bottom end of the steering base shaft, the auxiliary damping mechanism is mounted on an upper surface of the positioning frame, the bottom damping mechanism is located inside the positioning frame, a connecting seat is fixedly connected to a top end of the steering base shaft, and a docking groove is provided on an upper surface of the connecting seat, and the vertical damping mechanism includes a fixed cylinder. The present application adopts a three-dimensional graded damping design in vertical, longitudinal and lateral, and radial directions, which breaks through the limitations of the conventional single-type damping structure. In the vertical direction, a primary vertical damping system composed of a support spring and damping shock absorbers undertakes the vertical load of a car body, and absorbs the vertical impact caused by track irregularity and track joints.
