Abstract

The present invention relates to an improved lamp assembly comprising a self-locking, screw-on interface (13) between the base (11) of a glass lamp and a glass bulb (10). The base (11) is provided with a plurality of recesses (12). This self-locking interface (13) has a multitude of click-in notches (15) in the corresponding glass recesses (12) and a cylindrical body equipped with a left-handed screw (14).
