Abstract

A locking device for a door or window with a closing jamb (m) that closes against another jamb (d), capable of reversibly moving from a passive position to an active locking position, said device comprising at least two locking hooks (110, 111, 110', 111') and a locking rod (10, 10'), and including a strike plate (2) receiving said locking hooks, said locking rod being adapted to slide to reversibly move said device from a passive position to an active locking position in which said two hooks are locked in said strike plate, one of said hooks being fixed (110, 110') and the other hook (111, 111') mounted movably and integrally with the sliding motion of said locking rod (10, 10'), and said strike plate (2, 20, 21, 21) configured to slide and integrally with the movement of said movable hook (111, 111') when said movable hook is engaged in said strike plate.
