Abstract
The invention relates to a method for encapsulating a pesticide (for example glyphosate) which comprises the steps of (a) mixing a first biopolymer which is an alginate having a viscosity of 4 to 100 centipoise (a 1% aqueous solution at 20 °C) and a second biopolymer in solution, (b) adding the product of step (a) to a pesticide solution and (c) adding a surfactant to the product of step (b).
