Abstract

This invention relates to the recovery of solid waste from thermal power plants (fly ash, bottom ash) and slag from stainless steel smelting. These wastes, rich in silica and calcite, are used as adsorbents for filtering industrial wastewater. Once transformed into filtration sludge, the sludge is recycled into construction materials for the production of eco-friendly electric poles. The manufacturing process includes drying the sludge, mixing it with cement, sand (with a particle size of 100 μm), and gravel, followed by the design and molding of the poles. Leaching tests conducted on these poles, after being immersed in water for three months, showed no presence of harmful substances. The mechanical properties (compressive and flexural strength) and radioactive assessment exceeded the required standards. This innovation offers a sustainable solution for solid waste management and its integration into practical applications such as electricity transmission between different regions.
