Safe with a biometric locking system based on corneal recognition

Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for managing access to a safe (1) comprising a biometric authentication system based on corneal recognition. The device comprises a corneal recognition sensor (2) that works in conjunction with infrared lighting to improve the accuracy of the captured images, and a processing unit that uses artificial intelligence algorithms to analyze the data and authenticate the user. The sensor (2) is mounted on a telescopic arm to adjust to the users height. The system also includes a backup method, such as a key or code, to unlock the safe in the event of a specific problem with the biometric authentication system.
