Abstract

The invention relates to the mechanical engineering industry, in particular to processes for plastic deformation of gear teeth with internal engagement from materials of medium plasticity.The process, according to the invention, consists in that the plastic deformation is carried out by feeding a tool head, which comprises a housing (1) with a rod (9) with conical surfaces (8) and at least three radial rectangular channels (2), in which plastic deformation rollers (4) are placed on their own axes (3), mounted with a gap in forks (5) and locked from axial movement by nuts (6), the constant contact of the forks (5) with the conical surfaces (8) of the rod (9) being maintained by elastic compression rings (7), placed in the housing (1) and on the outer surface of the plastic deformation rollers (4) and nuts (6). The forks (5) with plastic deformation rollers (4) perform radial movements in the direction of the semi-finished product (10) under the action of a force applied to the rod (9), and at the same time the semi-finished product (10) receives rotational movement and radial or longitudinal movement depending on the shape of the teeth of the plastic deformation rollers (4).
