Abstract
Formulations of compact cylinders of barley rootlets, malt powder, malt dust, and malt spent grain, derived from the brewing process, for use as livestock feed, characterized by employing organic co-products from the industrial barley malting process, comprising the following combinations and proportions in their formulation: Formula I: Composed of 80% malt powder and 20% malt rootlets (+ / -5% Margin), designed to provide a balanced mixture with a minimum protein content of 12-13%, ensuring a correct proportion of fiber and highly digestible proteins; Formula II: Composed of 40% malt dust and 60% malt rootlets (+ / -5% Margin), optimized to achieve a minimum protein content of 20-22%, guaranteeing adequate digestibility and nutrient utilization in livestock feed;Formula III: Composed of 90% malt bagasse and 10% malt powder (+ / -5% Margin) as a desiccant, formulated to provide a minimum protein content of 25%, eliminating residual moisture and preventing the formation of mycotoxins and fungi during storage.
