BIOTECHNOLOGICAL MIXTURE FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF ORAL CARE PRODUCTS

Abstract

A biotechnological mixture for the preparation of oral care products, comprising: lactoferrin as an antimicrobial agent and preventative of caries and dental plaque; xylitol as an agent that inhibits bacterial growth, prevents caries formation, and reduces tooth sensitivity; and coconut oil (Cocos nucifera L.) as an antimicrobial agent, plaque reducer, anti-inflammatory, humectant, and emollient. Oral care products comprising the biotechnological mixture proposed by the present invention.
