METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR THE TREATMENT OF VINAZE AND BAGASSE FROM THE TEQUILA INDUSTRY

Abstract

The present invention relates to a system and method for treating vinasse from the tequila industry. The system comprises: a clarification tank equipped with sensors, mechanical agitation, and steam heating; a vaporization boiler with separate zones for vaporization, combustion, vibratory screening, and ash collection; an alternative fuel feeder with a conveyor belt and steam lines for biomass drying; an ash extractor; and a steam recirculator for multiple distribution. The method comprises: receiving the vinasse in the tank at 75-90°C; adding flocculant (CaO or Ca(OH)2); adjusting the pH to between 9 and 12; homogenizing by controlled agitation (25-350 rpm for 25-50 minutes); vaporizing the vinasse in a coil heated to 250-275°C by combined combustion of agricultural waste and LP gas; and utilizing the generated steam for industrial applications, condensation for reuse, and system self-cleaning.The invention allows for efficient treatment of vinasse, water recovery, and energy utilization of the generated steam.
