Abstract

The patent concerns the production of biochar from mesquite waste, utilizing agro-industrial residues as raw material in conjunction with immobilized ureolytic bacteria. It also claims ownership of the production conditions, including mixing the biochar with broth inoculated with ureolytic bacteria, and controlling the temperature and pyrolysis time. Furthermore, it describes the biochar's application as a soil additive, providing good water and nutrient retention, an optimal pH for crop development, and reducing nitrous oxide emissions into the atmosphere and nitrogen loss through leaching.
