Abstract

The present invention relates to a test bench (100) for studying active flow control systems in wind turbines on a reduced scale, which comprises: a three-phase electric generator (1) for converting mechanical energy into electrical energy; a torque / RPM sensor (2) concentrically located in the vicinity of the electric generator (1) for measuring in real time the torque of a main shaft (3) connecting the electric generator (1) with a blade system (10) for transferring the mechanical energy generated by said blade system (10), wherein said blade system (10) is concentrically located at the end opposite the electric generator (1) for capturing the kinetic energy of the wind and transforming it into mechanical energy; at least one flexible coupling (4) located concentrically before the sensor (2) to transmit the power and compensate possible misalignments either angular, radial or axial between them; at least one bearing (5) concentrically located after the sensor (2), whose function is to support the main shaft (3) ensuring its stability and allowing a smooth rotation.
