Abstract
A thermochromic cable sheath includes a body defining a first surface and an opposing second surface, wherein the first surface defines an opening extending between a first end and an opposing second end. The body includes a thermochromic pigment configured to produce a color change along at least a portion of the body in response to an increase in the temperature of the associated portion of the body.
