TERMINAL BOLT RETAINING PLATE, CONNECTOR AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

Abstract

The present invention describes a terminal bolt retainer plate, a connector, and a connector assembly. The terminal bolt retainer plate comprises: a plate body (20) formed with a retaining hole (21) for retaining a bolt (3a) of a connector terminal (3); and a spring buckle (22). The spring buckle (22) includes: a cylindrical portion (220) connected to the plate body (20) and divided into multiple cantilever portions (223) by at least one axial groove (222) formed therein; and a locking portion (221) formed at the end of the cantilever portion (223) and projecting outward along a radial direction from the cylindrical portion (220).The cylindrical portion (220) is adapted to pass through a boundary hole (102) in a lower wall (10) of a connector housing (1), and the locking portion (221) and plate body (20) are adapted to bear, respectively, on the inner and outer sides of the lower wall (10) of the housing (1) to lock the terminal bolt retainer plate (2) in the housing (1). The diameter of the cylindrical portion (220) is smaller than the diameter of the boundary hole (102), so that the terminal bolt retainer plate (2) can float along the radial direction of the boundary hole (102) relative to the housing (1) after being locked in the housing (1). The present invention simplifies the structure of the terminal bolt retainer plate and the housing, reducing assembly difficulty and manufacturing costs.
