Abstract

Aspects of the present invention relate to a controller for controlling a differential locking system of a vehicle with a plurality of wheels. The controller comprises one or more processors collectively configured to receive wheel-specific status information for at least two wheels. It is further configured to determine, based at least on the wheel-specific status information, a differential lock setpoint, which indicates whether a differential lock should be engaged or disengaged. It is also configured to send the differential lock setpoint to the differential locking system to control the system, enabling or disengaging the differential lock based on the setpoint. The invention further relates to a differential locking system, an axle assembly, a method, and computer-readable instructions.
