ALL-PLASTIC PRESSING PUMP

Abstract

An all-plastic crimping pump includes a moving portion, a fixed portion, and a spring-return mechanism. The moving portion includes a crimping head, with an inner sleeve formed beneath the crimping head. The fixed portion includes a collar; an outer sleeve is formed on a portion of the collar, and the inner sleeve is able to fit into the outer sleeve. A groove is formed in the inner sleeve, configured to create a sealing fit between an inner surface of the collar's outer sleeve and an outer surface of the groove, both when the crimping head is fully reset to top dead center and when the crimping head is not fully reset to top dead center.With the press pump structure made entirely of plastic, the outer sleeve of the collar is also able to fit with the groove of the inner sleeve without play, even when the press head is not fully reset to its top dead center of stroke, ensuring a seal between the press head and the collar to prevent water from entering the press pump and avoid product leakage.
