Abstract

A system for ensuring cargo compliance by carriers comprises an interface element and a memory configured to replaceably store load level compliance records for one or more carriers, the memory being further configured to replaceably store one or more sets of cargo data associated with at least one carrier from one or more carriers; a processor is configured to transmit a cargo information request about a predetermined cargo to a carrier, receive cargo data from the carrier in response to the request, analyze the cargo data with respect to a load level compliance record associated with the carrier, and determine whether the predetermined cargo is cargo compliant in response to the analysis of the cargo data with respect to the load level compliance record associated with the carrier.
