Abstract

An ice making apparatus comprising a flexible mold having a plurality of interconnected ice formation cavities, a single fill cavity configuration configured to distribute water evenly across the interconnected ice formation cavities, a drive motor configured to rotate the flexible mold between the ice making position and the ice harvesting position, an ejection mechanism comprising at least one extraction pin positioned adjacent to the flexible mold, and a storage reservoir configured to collect the ejected ice pieces.
