Abstract

A communication apparatus is connected to an access point (AP) by wireless communication. The communication apparatus includes connecting means for connecting to a plurality of APs operating in conjunction with a predetermined communication method; searching means for searching for an external AP outside the communication apparatus and obtaining information about the detected external AP; and display control means for, in case the external AP discovered by the search means includes multiple APs supporting the predetermined communication method and the plurality of APs form a group, controlling the display of the information of the APs included in the group to be displayed so as to be selectable as a single option when viewing the information of the external APs discovered by the search means.
