Abstract
A vehicle-powered electric energy generating device consists of a speed bump that descends a certain distance due to the force applied by a vehicle. This movement is controlled by a system of springs and shock absorbers. The motion and its energy are mechanically transmitted via a rack and pinion system (with a maximum travel of 10 cm), gears, and bearings to an electric generator. The generator converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy, which is then transmitted to an inverter and a circuit for connection to the city's power grid. The device is installed in a specially prepared pit and includes safety measures to prevent electrical shocks from water flow, such as seals and drainage systems.
