Abstract

The present invention discloses a device for weighing live shrimp, both for harvesting the animal and for transferring the animal, wherein the device comprises a main support structure, a secondary support structure and a weighing box that is opened and closed by a gate controlled by a four-bar mechanism. The present invention further relates to a weighing process that uses the device of the invention.
