Temperature-controlled dispenser for order fulfillment

Abstract

The present invention relates to a temperature-controlled dispenser system for order fulfillment. The system includes a dispenser apparatus with a cart compartment sized to receive a shopping cart and accessible from both a fulfillment side and a pickup side. Positioned above the cart compartment is a temperature-controlled compartment, also accessible from both sides. The dispenser features an access door on the pickup side and an access controller configured to manage access to both compartments via the access door.
