Abstract

The invention relates to an access barrier (1) which is or can be arranged on a pocket, forms a reach-through region (4) to the pocket, and comprises an upper textile portion (2) and a lower textile portion (3), wherein the upper textile portion (2) overlaps the lower textile portion. The textile portions (2, 3) are elastically stretchable. The upper portion (2) and the lower portion are connected to one another by at least two seams (5A, 5B) that are spaced apart from one another, the upper and lower portions (2, 3) having an edge (6, 7). The reach-through region (4) is formed between the portions (2, 3), the edges (6, 7) of the portions (2, 3), and the seams. At least one of the two seams (5A, 5B) connects only the upper and the lower portion (2, 3) to one another.
