CURABLE COMPOSITION FOR CURE-IN-PLACE PIPES

Abstract

A curable composition with improved cure time at room temperature is disclosed, the curable composition including (a) a resin, namely 4,4'-isopropylidenediphenol-epichlorohydrin copolymer and (b) one or more curing agents, wherein the ratio of a weight percent of the resin to a weight percent of the curing agent(s) is from approximately 12:1 to approximately 15:1. A method of curing a cured-in-place coating is also disclosed, wherein the cured-in-place coating contains the above curable composition.
