Abstract
This method describes the implementation of an optical system for generating cavitation bubbles using laser radiation delivery via an optical fiber and silver and copper nitrate nanoparticles immobilized at its tip. The nanoparticles are immobilized using photodeposition. The method utilizes a continuous-wave laser emitting at 450 nm and a non-absorbing solution at this wavelength (ethanol). We demonstrate that it is possible to obtain bubbles at the tip with a maximum diameter of up to 1 mm. Upon bubble implosion, a microjet is released with a maximum velocity of 10 m / s. This method offers competitive advantages over existing methods that require various optical components, which are often expensive. Furthermore, the proposed method can be applied in diverse fields such as engineering, industry, and medicine, among many others.
