Abstract

A syringe (1) with a safety mechanism comprises a syringe (100), a needle (200), a holder (400), and a needle cover (500) that is movable relative to the syringe along the syringe axis from a use position to a protected position. The holder (400) has a locking portion (433). At least one element of the holder (400) and the needle cover (500) have protruding portions (440, 521, 522) that project toward the other element, and the other element has regulating portions (513b, 431a, 434a) that bear on the protruding portions to inhibit displacement of the needle cover (500) relative to the syringe along the syringe axis from the protected position to the use position.

Claims

1. A syringe with a safety mechanism, characterized in that it comprises: a syringe; a needle connected to an end portion of the syringe tip; a holder fixed to the syringe; and a needle cover that can be displaced relative to the syringe along an axial direction of the syringe from a position of use where the needle is exposed to a protective position where the needle is enclosed, wherein the holder includes a locking portion that locks the needle cover in the position of use from a radially inner side of the needle cover to hold the needle cover in the position of use and locks the needle cover in the protective position from a radially inner side to hold the needle cover in the protective position.and at least one element of the needle holder and cover includes a projecting portion that extends into the other element of the needle holder and cover, and the other element includes a restraining portion that rests on the projecting portion to restrict the relative displacement of the needle cover with respect to the syringe along the axial direction of the syringe from the guarded position to the use position.

2. The syringe with a safety mechanism according to claim 1, characterized in that the holder includes a guide projection in a shape that protrudes into the needle cover, the needle cover is provided with a guide groove that guides the guide projection when the needle cover is moved from the use position to the guard position, the guide groove includes a guide surface in a shape that causes the needle cover to rotate about a central axis of the syringe when the needle cover is moved from the use position to the guard position, and a bearing surface that rests on the guide projection when the needle cover is moved from the guard position to the use position along the axial direction, and the guide projection constitutes the protruding portion and the bearing surface constitutes the restraining portion.

3. The syringe with safety mechanism of ML / t / ZUZZ / UOUZÓD according to claim 1, characterized in that the needle cover includes an expansion portion that expands towards the holder, the holder includes a receiving portion that is opposite in the axial direction to the expansion portion of the needle cover in the guard position and rests on the expansion portion when the needle cover is moved from the guard position to the use position along the axial direction, and the expansion portion constitutes the protruding portion and the receiving portion constitutes the restraining portion.

4. The syringe with a safety mechanism according to claim 3, characterized in that the retainer includes a guide projection in a shape that projects toward the needle cover, the needle cover is provided with a guide groove that guides the guide projection when the needle cover is moved from the use position to the guard position, the guide groove includes a guide surface in a shape that causes the needle cover to rotate about a central axis of the syringe when the needle cover is moved from the use position to the guard position, the retainer includes a first wall portion formed in a position where the first wall portion is opposite the expansion portion of the needle cover in the use position in a radial direction of the needle cover,The first wall portion allows the needle cover to move from the use position to the protection position while the needle cover rotates around the central axis of the syringe, and a second wall portion provided in a position adjacent to the first wall portion in a direction identical to the direction of rotation of the needle cover around the central axis of the syringe when the needle cover moves from the use position to the protection position, and a tip end portion of the second wall portion in an orientation in which the needle cover moves from the use position to the protection position constitutes the receiving portion.

5. The syringe with a safety mechanism according to claim 4, characterized in that the retainer further includes another first wall portion different from the first wall portion, the locking portion being provided in a position adjacent to the other first wall portion in a direction identical to the direction of rotation of the needle cover about the central axis of the syringe when the needle cover is moved from the use position to the protection position, the expansion portion including a first longitudinal reinforcement opposite the first wall portion in the radial direction of the needle cover when the needle cover is located in the use position and opposite the second wall portion in the axial direction when the needle cover is located in the protection position, and a second longitudinal reinforcement opposite the other first wall portion in the radial direction of the needle cover when the needle cover is in the use position and opposite the locking portion in the axial direction when the needle cover is in the guard position, and an end portion of the tip of the locking portion in the orientation in which the needle cover moves from the use position to the guard position constitutes the receiving portion.

6. The syringe with safety mechanism according to claim 4 or 5, characterized in that the guide groove further includes a bearing surface that rests on the guide projection when the needle cover is moved from the protective position to the use position along the axial direction, and the guide projection constitutes the protruding portion and the bearing surface constitutes the restraining portion.

7. The syringe with a safety mechanism according to claim 1, characterized in that it further comprises a needle cap fixed to the syringe to cover the needle, the needle cap being removable from the syringe, wherein the needle cap can be displaced relative to the syringe from the use position to the protection position while the needle cap is not fixed to the syringe, the locking portion is elastically deformable to bend radially inwards to allow movement of the needle cover from the use position to the protection position, and the needle cap includes a support portion that supports the locking portion from the radially inner side to restrict radial inward bending of the locking portion.

8. The syringe with a safety mechanism according to claim 7, characterized in that ML / t / ZUZZ / UDUZÓD in the fastener, on each of the opposite sides of the locking portion in a circumferential direction of the fastener, a slit is provided that extends in a direction parallel to the axial direction of the syringe.

9. The syringe with a safety mechanism according to claim 8, characterized in that the locking portion includes a flexible piece in a shape extending parallel to the axial direction of the syringe, and a locking projection in a shape projecting radially outward from the flexible piece, the needle cover including a use-position coupling portion engaged with the locking projection in the use position, and the flexible part can be elastically deformed such that the locking lug moves between a coupling position where the locking lug is coupled with the coupling portion of the use position while the needle cover is located in the use position and a disengagement position where the locking lug disengages radially inwards from the coupling portion of the use position when the needle cover is moved from the use position to the guard position.
