Abstract

This application provides a method for processing dial packets. The method applies to a dial packet processing system. The system includes a controller, an access gateway, a forwarding plane network element, and a control plane network element that are interconnected.The method includes: the control plane network element receives a dial-up packet from the access gateway, where the dial-up packet is a dial-up packet sent by the user equipment to the access gateway; the control plane network element sends an authentication request to an external server, where the authentication request is generated by the control plane network element based on the dial-up packet; the control plane network element receives the dial-up success information sent by the external server; and the control plane network element determines the forwarding plane network element based on the dial-up success information, so that the user equipment carries out network communication through the forwarding plane network element.

Claims

1. A dial packet processing method, applied to a control plane network element in a dial packet processing system, characterized in that the system comprises a controller, an access gateway, a forwarding plane network element, and the interconnected control plane network element, and the method comprises: receiving, by the control plane network element, a dial packet from the access gateway, wherein the dial packet is a dial packet sent by the user equipment to the access gateway; sending, by the control plane network element, an authentication request to an external server, wherein the authentication request is generated by the control plane network element based on the dial packet; and receiving, by the control plane network element, dial success information sent by the external server.and determine, by the control plane network element, the forwarding plane network element based on the dialing success information, to allow the user equipment to carry out network communication through the forwarding plane network element.

The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the dialing packet comprises an internet protocol, IP address, user equipment address, and after the control plane network element determines the forwarding plane network element based on the dialing success information, the method further comprises: sending, by the control plane network element, information about the forwarding plane network element to the controller, to enable the controller to send a tunnel establishment request to the access gateway, wherein the tunnel establishment request is generated by the controller based on the information about the forwarding plane network element, and the tunnel establishment request is used to establish a first communication tunnel between the access gateway and the forwarding plane network element.and the first communication tunnel corresponds to the IP address.

3. The method according to claim 2, characterized in that the information about the forwarding plane network element comprises forwarding plane network element interface information and access gateway interface information.

The method according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that when the IP address has been in correspondence with a second communication tunnel, after determining, by the control plane network element, the forwarding plane network element based on the dialing success information, the method further comprises: sending, by the control plane network element, the information about the forwarding plane network element to the controller, to enable the controller to send a tunnel change request to the access gateway, wherein the tunnel change request is generated by the controller based on the information about the forwarding plane network element, the tunnel change request is used to change a communication tunnel that corresponds to the IP address of the second communication tunnel to the first communication tunnel,and the second communication tunnel is a communication tunnel between the access gateway and another forwarding plane network element.

The method according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the dialing success information comprises service level agreement SLA information corresponding to the IP address, and the determination, by the control plane network element, of the forwarding plane network element based on the dialing success information comprises: determining, by the control plane network element, the forwarding plane network element based on the SLA information.

The method according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that after the control plane network element receives dial success information sent by the external server, the method further comprises: generating session information based on the dial success information, wherein the session information corresponds to the IP address; and sending the session information to the forwarding plane network element by the control plane network element to enable the forwarding plane network element to advertise routing information externally based on the session information, wherein a destination address of the routing information is the IP address.

A dial packet processing method, applied to a forwarding plane network element in a dial packet processing system, wherein the system comprises a controller, an access gateway, the forwarding plane network element, and a control plane network element connected to each other, and the method characterized in that it comprises: receiving, by the forwarding plane network element, a tunnel establishment request from the access gateway, wherein the tunnel establishment request is used to establish a communication tunnel between the access gateway and the forwarding plane network element,and the tunnel establishment request is generated by the controller based on information that is approximately the forwarding plane network element and that is sent by the control plane network element after the control plane network element determines the forwarding plane network element after receiving a dial-up packet sent by the user equipment, wherein the dial-up packet comprises an internet protocol IP address of the user equipment; and establish, by the forwarding plane network element, the communication tunnel to the access gateway, wherein the communication tunnel corresponds to the IP address.

8. The method according to claim 7, characterized in that the information about the forwarding plane network element comprises the forwarding plane network element interface information and the access gateway interface information.

The method according to claim 7 or 8, characterized in that the dial success information comprises the service level agreement SLA information corresponding to the IP address, and the forwarding plane network element is determined based on the SLA information in the dial success information returned by an external server, after the control plane network element generates an authentication request based on the dial packet and sends the authentication request to the external server.

10. The method according to claim 7, characterized in that the method further comprises: receiving, by the forwarding plane network element, a data packet from the access gateway through the communication tunnel, wherein a source IP address of the data packet is the IP address.

The method according to any of claims 7 to 10, characterized in that the method further comprises: receiving, by the forwarding plane network element, the session information sent by the control plane network element, wherein the session information is generated by the forwarding plane network element based on the dial-up success information returned by the external server, and the session information corresponds to the IP address; and publishing, by the forwarding plane network element, routing information to the outside based on the session information, wherein a destination address of the routing information is the IP address. n / frL Ln / zznz / E / YiAi 12. A dial packet processing system, characterized in that the system comprises a forwarding plane network element, and a control plane network element connected to each other, the control plane network element carrying out the method according to any one of claims 1 to 6, and the forwarding plane network element carrying out the method according to any one of claims 7 to 11.

14. A computer-readable storage medium, characterized in that it comprises instructions, wherein when the instructions are executed on a computing device, the computing device is permitted to carry out the method according to any one of claims 1 to 11.

15. A network device, characterized in that it comprises a processor and a memory, wherein the processor executes code in the memory to carry out the method according to any one of claims 1 to 11.
