Abstract
Claims
1. An encoding method implemented by a decoding device, the method being characterized in that it comprises: obtaining a bitstream for a current image; obtaining a number of tiles in a tile row of the current image; obtaining a value of a direction of a segment of the current image; obtaining a tileX value according to the value of the segment direction, wherein the tileX value indicates a horizontal ratio in the tile index; analyzing an indication value for a segment width of the bitstream for the current image, where a difference value between the tile quality in the tile row of the current image and the tileX value is not equal to a first threshold.
2. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the method further comprises: setting the indication value for the segment width to a predetermined value, when a difference value between the tile quality in the current image tile row and the tileX value is equal to the first threshold.
3. The method according to claim 2, characterized in that the default value indicates that the width of the segment comprises 1 column of tiles.
4. The method according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that obtaining a tileX value according to the segment direction value comprises: obtaining the tileX value according to the segment direction value and the number of tiles in the tile row of the current image.
5. The method according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the tileX value is obtained according to a modulo operation between the segment direction value and the number of tiles in the current image tile row.
6. The method according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the segment direction is a leftmost tile index of the segment's topmost tile row, wherein the tiles comprising the current image are indexed according to a raster scan order.
7. The method according to any of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the segment direction value specifies a direction of an upper left coordinate of the segment in the mosaic index.

The method according to any of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the method further comprises: obtaining a number of tiles in a tile column of the current image; obtaining a tileY value according to the segment direction value, wherein the tileY value indicates a vertical direction in the tile index; analyzing an indication value for a bitstream segment height for the current image, where the difference value between the number of tiles in the tile column in the current image and the tileY value is not equal to a second threshold.
9. The method according to claim 8, wherein the method is further comprising: setting the indication value for the segment height to a preset value, when a difference value between the number of tiles in the tile column in the current image and the tileY value is equal to the second threshold.
10. The method according to claim 8 or 9, characterized in that obtaining a tileY value according to the segment direction value comprises: obtaining the tileY value according to the segment direction value and the number of tiles in the tile row of the current image.
11. The method according to any of claims 8 to 10, characterized in that the value of tileY is obtained according to an integer division operation between the value of the segment direction and the number of tiles in the tile row of the current image.
12. An encoding method implemented by a decoding device, the method being characterized in that it comprises: obtaining a bitstream for a current image; obtaining a number of tiles in a tile column of the current image; obtaining a value of a direction of a segment of the current image; obtaining a tileY value according to the value of the segment direction, wherein the tileY value indicates a vertical direction in the tile index; and analyzing an indication value for a segment height of the bitstream for the current image, where the difference between the number of tiles in the tile column in the current image and the tileY value is not equal to a second threshold.

The method according to claim 12, wherein the method is further comprising: setting the indication value for the segment height to a preset value, ML / t / ZUZZ / U / O 100 when a difference value between the number of tiles in the tile column in the current image and the tileY value is equal to the second threshold.

21. The method according to claim 19 or 20, characterized in that obtaining a tileX value according to the segment direction value comprises: obtaining the tileX value according to the segment direction value and the number of tiles in the tile row of the current image.
22. The method according to any of claims 19 to 21, characterized in that the tileX value is obtained according to a modulo operation between the segment direction value and the number of tiles in the current image tile row.
23. The method according to claim 20 or 22, characterized in that obtaining a tileY value according to the segment direction value comprises: obtaining the tileY value according to the segment direction value and the number of tiles in the tile row of the current image.
24. The method according to any of claims 20 to 23, characterized in that the value of tileY is obtained according to an integer division operation between the value of the segment direction and the number of tiles in the tile row of the current image.

An encoder, characterized in that it comprises: one or more processors; and a non-transient, computer-readable storage medium coupled to the processors and storing programming for execution by the processors, wherein the programming, when executed by the processors, configures the decoder to carry out the method in accordance with any one of claims 19 to 25.
