UTILITY MODEL FOR A SUGARCANE JUICE COLLECTION SYSTEM FOR HIGH EXTRACTION MILLS

Abstract

This application concerns the development of an adaptation to a drainage system based on a nozzle inserted into high-extraction or perforated rollers to increase juice capture capacity during sugarcane milling. This nozzle has been designed to address the clogging issues that occur with other nozzle types, as it provides better results in terms of speed and pressure parameters, and offers a larger discharge area into the drain. With these nozzles, juice flows more easily through the drain, reducing clogging and increasing collection capacity.The most outstanding features, apart from having 5 straight boreholes inside at a certain length, are that at the end they connect into a single borehole to have a greater area and speed of discharge towards the longitudinal drains, reducing the risk of reabsorption at the bagasse outlet.
