Abstract
The present invention relates to a gas detection device that employs MnSB2O6, which comprises: a power supply comprising an electrical transformer, a rectifier bridge circuit, a filtering circuit and a voltage regulation circuit; a Whatstone bridge circuit comprising: an MnSB2O6 sensing element that changes its electrical resistance when exposed to a gas and precision resistors, which delivers a first output voltage (Va) and a second output voltage (Vb); an instrumentation circuit comprising: a first operational instrumentation device, a second operational instrumentation device, which stabilize the first output voltage (Va) and a second output voltage (Vb) respectively;and a third operational instrumentation device that amplifies the difference between the two output voltage signals, delivering an instrument output voltage (Vi), and a comparator circuit connected to an alarm, which receives the instrument output voltage (Vi) and a reference voltage (Vref), amplifying the difference between them and delivering an alarm output voltage (Valarma) that activates the alarm if the sensor detects gas. This device can detect gases such as O2, H2, CO, CO3, C3H8, C4H10, LPG, H2H, C3H8O, and NO2 in concentrations from 1 ppm to 500 ppm, at temperatures above 100°C;
