Abstract

A vehicle charge control device for a vehicle with a battery system (1) including a first battery, a DC-DC converter (4) stepping down electric power from the first battery, and a second battery charged by a charge current from the DC-DC converter (4) to control the second battery charging includes a current value acquisition unit that acquires current values of the charge current and a discharge current from the second battery, a charge state calculation unit that calculates a charge state of the second battery from the current value, a feedback control unit that controls the DC-DC converter (4) such that the charge state matches a predetermined state less than full charge of the second battery, and a refresh charge unit that controls the DC-DC converter (4) to charge the second battery for a predetermined charge time when control duration by the feedback control unit reaches a predetermined duration.
