Abstract

The present invention relates to methods of preparing conjugate reagent solution and a conjugate pad comprising thereof, and an immunochromatographic biosensor (10) prepared thereby for honey protein content detection. The method of preparing the conjugate reagent solution characterized by the steps of adding polyclonal anti-major royal jelly protein 1 antibody into borate buffer, adding gold nanoparticles into a mixture of the antibody and borate buffer, shaking and incubating the mixture containing the gold nanoparticles, centrifuging the mixture to separate supernatant and pellet, mixing the pellet with blocking agent, shaking and incubating a mixture of the pellet and blocking agent, centrifuging the mixture to separate supernatant and pellet, and mixing the pellet with blocking agent to produce the conjugate reagent solution, wherein the conjugate reagent solution reacts with honey protein content in stingless bee and bee species.
