A method for producing an autologous derived tissue graft

Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of producing a tissue graft for treating a skin defect, the method comprising the steps of providing adipose tissue, subjecting the adipose tissue to proteolytic digestion to obtain a suspension, centrifuging the suspension to obtain a cell pellet, resuspending the cell pellet to obtain a bioink, mixing the bioink with blood components selected from platelet-rich plasma, fibrin or a combination thereof, capturing a three dimensional image of a skin defect to determine a boundary of said skin defect, depositing the bioink on a printing surface within a container to form a tissue graft precursor corresponding to the determined boundary of the skin defect, and incubating the tissue graft precursor with a crosslinking agent to obtain the tissue graft.
