Abstract

The present invention discloses a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) primer set for detecting and amplifying a target double stranded nucleic acid related to a pathogenic variant of familial hypercholesterolemia, FH, genes of apolipoprotein B, APOB, gene and low-density lipoprotein receptor, LDLR, gene simultaneously in a nucleic acid sample, a method and a kit thereof. The PCR primer set comprises a first oligonucleotide set and a second oligonucleotide comprising primers selected from a group comprising SEQ ID NOS:1-48 and combination thereof.
